Silver Oak Casino extensive review

Silver Oak Casino Review

Table of Contents

With this Silver Oak Casino review, I hope to persuade you, or at least inform you on why Silver Oak Casino shouldn’t be your next destination.

Simply put, it has many red flags and has been blacklisted by many websites that track the reputations of online casinos, making sure you guys are safe and don’t get scammed.

Sadly, Silver Oak Casino raises a couple of red flags, that it’s good casino games selection and decent promotions can’t hide.

So, if you really are aching to spend your money in an online casino this fine day, I would advise looking at some of the more popular and highly reviewed ones, instead of Silver Oak Casino which was blacklisted on many websites and deemed shady.

And all you should really know is they operate out of Costa Rica, so you literally have no protection if they decide to do something shady. The best you can do is just complain online and be part of the other comments saying the same thing and rating them as low as possible.

So, take everything into account, but think carefully about where you’ll be investing your time and money if you go with Silver Oak Casino, my friends.

Short Summary

  • Many complaints from players online
  • Lacklustre welcome bonus

Casino Bonuses And Promotions

Silver Oak Casino

A Warm Welcome?

Really not a warm welcome, as the bonus offer is quite poor, and asks for way too much in terms of playthrough and minimum deposit combo. It just doesn’t give you enough when you compare what it asks you to clear.

So, new players, know, the bonuses here are quite mediocre, and really, you can find better offerings from many other online casinos without too much hassle.

But if you’re dead set on trying Silver Oak Casino, I can at least inform you to the best of my ability what the bonus rules here are.

Welcome Bonus

  • 100% Match Bonus + 20 Free Spins ( bonus code WELCOME100)

This offer is valid only for new customers of the Silver Oak Casino and only for their first deposit made. To claim the bonus the minimum deposit amount placed must be $50+, which is quite a steep price to pay.

And when you see the wagering requirements which are set to 30x bonus + deposit amount for games such as slots, keno, scratch cards and bingo, and it rises to 60x bonus + deposit amount for table games and video poker.

And when you claim this bonus you’ll also get 20 free spins at the Vegas Lux slot. It also has the same wagering requirements of 30x bonus + deposit.

No Deposit Bonus

  • 25 Free Spins For The Game of The Month (bonus code FREE25)

These Silver Oak casino no deposit bonus codes are available for claiming to all players at the Silver Oak Casino, new and old. Simply enter the bonus code at the cashier and you’ll get your free spins for the current Game of The Month.

This bonus is subject to 30x bonus + deposit wagering requirements.

Existing Players Bonuses

It’s quite slim pickings I must say. They do offer that “no deposit” bonus to all their players, so that’s something. But apart from that, just like the welcome bonus for new players was underwhelming, so too is what Silver Oak Casino offers its existing players. I’m not impressed.

Deposit Bonuses & Promotions

  • 25 Free Spins + 110% Match Bonus (bonus code WILD110)

To claim your bonus simply deposit a minimum of $50+ and use the bonus code WILD110 at the cashier. This will grant you a nice 110% deposit bonus, which is subject to a wagering requirement of x30 bonus + deposit for slots, keno, bingo and scratch cards, and a 60x bonus + deposit for table games and video poker.

With this bonus, you also get 25 free spins on the Wild Fire 7s slots, which follow the 30x bonus + deposit wagering requirements you must clear before you can claim your winnings.

Online Casino Games Offering

Silver Oak Casino games list

While they don’t offer a mobile app, you can play the casino games they offer through your browser via instant play. And the website is somewhat mobile-friendly, so that’s nice. If you’re on PC you can also download their software to your PC and play from there.

All their games come from Real-Time Gaming, which is one of the biggest iGaming software providers on the market. But they do feature a small catalog of games, and of course, most of those will be slots.

Slots

With about 80 RTG slots to their name, Silver Oak Casino can provide any slot enjoyer among our readers with a good time. We know their quality, and that they are regularly updated and audited, so expect good payouts and no funny business.

Plus, Silver Oak Casino does update its game offering often, so you’ll see some new faces from time to time.

The popular stuff you’ll see includes:

  • 777
  • Cash Bandits 3
  • Diamond Fiesta
  • Bubble Bubble 3
  • Panda’s Gold
  • Princes Warrior

Table Games

Not bad, at 15 table games on offer. A decent selection to be sure, and can provide a nice little break from all the slots once in a while. Here are just some of the table games Silver Oak Casino has in store for you

  • Suit ‘Em Up 21 Blackjack
  • Perfect Pairs Blackjack
  • Blackjack 21
  • Tri-Card Poker
  • Vegas Three-Card Rummy
  • Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker

You can also take these table games for a test drive with their demos.

Video Poker

There are a lot more video poker games on offer than table games, which is a surprise to be sure. In total, there are 16 video poker games on offer. So, not bad. Here are some games I think you’ll enjoy:

  • Jacks or Better
  • Joker Poker
  • Double Jackpot
  • Double Double Jackpot Poker
  • Loose Deuces
  • Bonus Deuces Wild
  • All American Poker

Specialty Games

And in addition to offering slots, table games, and video poker, Silver Oak Casino does offer 14 specialty games, unlike some other online casinos.

Which is a plus, when you look at the total gaming catalog package. Some of them do have a 2-3% advantage given to the house over the long run, so not ideal.

Here are some of the better specialty games you can expect to see when you enter the Silver Oak Casino website:

  • 5 Diamond Blackjack
  • Hot Dice
  • Lucky 8’s
  • Magic 7’s
  • American Roulette
  • Bonus Bingo
  • Craps
  • European Roulette
  • European Slot Poker

Live Casino Games

Sadly, this is yet another one of those online casinos that don’t care for live dealer games. Why? Only they know. They are super fun and should be present in every serious online casino in my opinion. But alas, there are none here.

Banking

For banking methods, Silver Oak Casino offers a decent selection of payment options. You have traditional credit cards and of course cryptocurrencies.

So, that’s pretty good and nice to see. However, they do not offer e-wallet support as of writing this, and also a massive warning — they are notorious for not paying their customers on time.

Sometimes they may even void your payment entirely. So, I would be very wary of them and think twice before making any deposits into the Silver Oak Casino.

Deposit options

You got all your standard options; Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and lastly, Bitcoin. All very neat, but the minimum deposit is quite high, sitting at $50. There are no fees when making a deposit.

The maximum daily deposit is between $1000 and $5000, depending on your chosen method.

Withdrawal options

Withdrawals are where most of the complaints about the Silver Oak Casino come into play. They not only pay their customers very slowly but sometimes stall or completely void payments without reason. So, I would not deposit into Silver Oak Casino lightly, if I was you.

And just like for depositing, you can use the same methods to make your withdrawals. So, that’s pretty good. There is a high withdrawal minimum amount set at $100, and the maximum is set to $2500 per week.

That isn’t that great, considering the minimum maximum deposit amount per week is $7000. So, a bit stingy if you ask me.

Loyalty Program

And if you sadly do end up choosing Silver Oak Casino as your next online gambling destination, know that they do offer a VIP program for players who continuously spend at their casino.

As is standard, wagering money will earn you comp points which you accumulate so you can reach new, higher tiers and unlock better perks and rewards. There are a couple of tiers Silver Oak Casino VIP program has:

  • Centurion

You get double the table limits and access to special promotions. While in this tier, for every $10 wagered, you earn 1 comp point.

  • Silver

Another doubling of the table limits, which means it’s now 4x the amount normal players have. And you now even get a 10% monthly insurance and a $150 free chip. Now, for every $7.5 wagered, you earn 1 comp point.

  • Gold

The third tier offers you a bigger free chip, worth $250 now. Monthly insurance rises to 15% and you also get your winnings faster, with withdrawal times being shorter. But that’s not all, as the table limit is once again doubled, now sitting at 8x the amount normal players command. And the wagering to comp point conversion also improves, with now $5 earning you 1 comp point.

  • Platinum

Almost at the end tier, and it shows. First, you get a $500 free chip, a staggering 20x table limits, and a personal VIP host to cater to your needs. That’s some next-level stuff. On top of that, there’s 17% monthly insurance. You still earn 1 comp point per $5 wagered, which sadly didn’t change.

  • Ultimate

And finally, the big daddy, the Ultimate tier. Since everyone loves free chips, you’ll now get a whopping $1000 free chip to use, and 20% monthly insurance. Also, expect plenty of personalized bonuses and promotions, as well as still having that VIP host from the Platinum tier and all the bells and whistles of the previous tiers, now just better.

Lastly, the table limits are once again pushed, now doubled to 40x the normal player table limit. And for every $2 you earn 1 comp point, which is a drop of 50%+ compared to the Platinum level wagering requirement. So, that’s nice.

Customer Support

While not great, as they claim to be, the customer support team is at least competent. And you can contact them in many different ways, so that’s always a plus. I usually prefer Live Chat or just dialing 1-888-402-2063 (for US and Canada).

But you can also email them at help@silveroakcasino.com, send them a fax, or better yet, contact them via Skype. So, whatever floats your boat.

Conclusion

And there you go, yet another online casino review done and dusted. This time it was for Silver Oak Casino. At first glance, it looks solid. Apart from not having live dealer games, the RealTime Gaming software provider has outfitted them with a chunky game catalog I’m sure many of us would love to take for a spin.

From slots, and table games to video

The bonuses are not that great, but not bad either. The welcome package is lackluster, but they do seem to love to give free spins away. So, all pretty normal stuff many online casinos do really. I don’t think they are anywhere as enticing as some of the other offerings I’ve seen online.

But mediocre promotions are not always a sign of a bad casino. No. Silver Oak Casino has a different issue, one which questions if they are trustworthy. Spoiler alert, they are not. Operating out of Costa Rica and having that license, means you are not safe if they decide to do something shady to you.

Thus, zero protection for the player. But what really stands out is the plethora of “not paid, slowly paid out or completely voided payments” comments left by unsatisfied customers.

Once, it may be a fluke, but when you see so many, it becomes more than a simple mistake or fluke. It becomes an issue. I personally wouldn’t play at this online casino even if they offered me $1000 bonus money worth of spins, chips, etc.

Even if it had zero wagering requirements and it was in fact free money, I still wouldn’t trust them given all I’ve seen.

So, I suggest trying to find another online casino that I’m sure will not only welcome your money, but you as well, and won’t try to pull one over on you.

Just make sure it’s not part of the Virtual Casino Group since they are notorious for being bad apples, and nobody likes to eat bad apples now, do they? Poker and specialty games, Silver Oak Casino has it all.
